Website entries MUST be submitted by entering a URL through our online registration system. Work submitted without a functioning URL for review will not be judged.
For interactive and motion graphic entries, a functioning url is preferred. However, we will accept entries on portable media such as a flash drive or dvd.
For mobile apps and games, please submit with an emulator on either a web page or on a drive, or through a submitted video of the app or game being used.
Variations of one entry (e.g., packaging for different flavors or sizes of the same product, the different components of a stationery system) are considered a single entry. Please limit to five components.
Series entries comprise systems of three or more applications (e.g., identity, annual report, signage, television advertisement and website) for the same client and project, to be judged collectively as one entry in the same category. Please limit to five components.
Categories
It is recommend that each entry be entered into the one category that you think your entry fits most accurately in terms of its purpose. You may choose to enter the same piece in more than one category. Please be aware that you'll be required to pay a separate fee for submitting to each category, even if the entry is the same. Ultimately, the entry is eligible to win an award in only one category. Judges retain the right to reclassify entries from one category to another or to select only components of the submission for honors.
All work created while attending school must be submitted in this category. Work created while at professional internships must be entered into the professional categories.

People's Choice Award
For the second year running, after the judges make their picks, we turn it over to you and the entire KC creative community to select their favorites through online voting. Participation in the PCA is entirely optional but highly rewarding. Just submit a single digital image of your project during the online entry process to become eligible.
Just submit a single digital image of your professional project during the online entry process to become eligible. For website, interactive, motion and mobile app pieces–we recommend submitting one image that shows multiple frames or pages of the piece. Student entries are eligible for the People’s Choice Award but will compete with all entries, including professional entries.
Winners will be announced at the A7 Gala. Good luck, and may the people be with you!
Notification
Notification letters will be sent in the summer of 2011. The list of the jury's selections will be posted on the AIGA KC website after our awards gala in the Fall of 2011. If you are notified that the jurors have selected your entry, we may require additional copies of it for photographing and exhibition. We regret that additional copies of the entries cannot be returned. Please refrain from submitting an entry if you will be unable to send us one additional copy of it if selected.
